It’s been a busy summer gardening at my son’s school. Here’s a few pictures of some of our garden fruits: burgundy muscadines, figs, pear and orange mint. The thick-skinned muscadines were scored with an “x” and peeled back so that the kids who don’t like the bitter skin could just suck out the pulp. Such a Southern treat! More updates soon on my family’s other gardening projects and how they’re incorporated into our lunches and snacks.
